Ethically Produced

We are a small, female owned business. We have chosen to use only leathers produced here in the United States to ensure quality, adherance to enveronmental regulations, and worker protections. We selected a tannery that has spent the last 150 years perfecting the craft of natural vegetable tanning. Veg-tanning means the leather is cured with natural plant material rather than chromium and other toxic chemicals. In addition to being beautifully made, and extremely durable, leathers produced in this country pay workers a fair wage and follow environmental regulations protecting the environment, employees, and community.
